    Simon de Deney

    As a writer, Simon has had a number of BBC Radio commissions, such as `The Way It Is’ and ‘Future Perfect’. His first play, ‘Initial Conditions’, premiered at the King’s Head in 2007. As a director Simon has worked as Associate Director on Yukio Ninagawa’s most recent ‘Hamlet’ and has developed and directed many new plays including ‘Broken Voices’, ‘Scotch and Water’, ‘Ponies’ and ‘Late Fragment’. As an actor, theatre includes ‘The Country Wife’, (Mermaid); ‘The Madness of George Dubya’ (Arts, West End); ‘The Prisoner of Windsor’ (Leicester Square Theatre); ‘Christmas Carol’, (Dukes); ‘Spider’s Web’, (Wolsey); ‘Charley’s Aunt’, (Middsboro); ‘Beneath The Waves’, (Eastern Angles); ‘Twelfth Night’ (Canizaro Park); ‘Miss Chester’, (Player’s); ‘Frankenstein’, (Jackson’s Lane), ‘Duchess of Malfi’, (Tristan Bates); ‘Felix’, (King’s Head), ‘Unmanned’, (Arcola). Television includes ‘House of Elliot’; ‘The Upper Hand’; ‘Rose Cottage’. Film includes ‘Damage’; ‘Shining Through; ‘Another Country’; ‘The Selfish Act of Community’

    Simon de Deney was a summer school tutor in: 2016
